Alexander Anderson is now available in hard cover and comes complete with a CD featuring ten of Anderson’s award winning musical compositions sung by local entertainers to complement his biography written by Scott C. S. Stone.  Stone tells the story of Anderson’s life with colorful detail, providing us with a rich portrait of a man who made a heroic escape from the Germans during World War I and went to establish himself not only as a respected songwriter but also as a prominent figure in Hawai‘i’s community.  Anderson gave much of himself to Hawai‘i, most importantly, he gave his aloha. This chronicle of the prolific songwriter's life includes personal letters and photos of Anderson's world famous fans Bing Crosby, Andy Williams and Arthur Godfrey.
