ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Darren Perman grew up in Malibu, California. He was inspired to write this story after he woke up one morning to the sounds of Wookiwoo and his family flying from tree to tree. Darren is married to Ruby Perman and they live in Dana Point, California with their two children, Alanni and Kanoa.
ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR
Kristi Petosa-Sigel loved to draw and paint as a child and dreamed of being a professional artist and illustrating children’s books. Living in Kailua, Kristi works as a freelance artist, has illustrated several children’s books and raised three very creative children. She also shares her passion of art with the students at Lanikai School where she has been the art teacher for more than a decade. As a self taught illustrator her work reflects her admiration for the art of hula, the children she teaches, and her love for the islands and the people of Hawaiʻi.

It's a large card - 5.5 x 8 in. with a beautiful display of flowers and fruits on the front. It does have a glitter-like substance on the flowers but it does not rub off at all. Many cards you touch the glitter will go all over the place. This card does no such thing, which makes them even better. I guarantee the recipients of this card will absolutely love it because it's a great representation of Hawaii.

These Aloha shirt cards are fantastic. The card stock is thick, the design is great, and they open where the shirt buttons, which is a nice feature. They will be a nice alternative than the “traditional” Christmas cards. They arrived within a week of ordering. I would purchase them again.
