Island Heritage Music is proud to present a third album by two-time Nā Hōkū Hanohano Male Vocalist of the Year Kamaka Kukona’s latest album, “Kahekeonapua”, to our music Ohana comprising of a beautiful collection of favorite songs as well as new original songs. You'll find some classic covers like Kui Lee's Lahainaluna; Lena Machado's Kamalani O Keaukaha; Sam Liʻa Kalainainaʻ Hiʻilawe; and Ray Charles' You Don't Know Me and original mele (songs) on the album like the hit single Lovely 'Ala Mēlia, released in August 2019 and written to honor his late mother, Lovena "Ala" Pagay Vise; Kamakaokeliʻi and the title track Kahekeonāpua, a new composition honoring Queen Liliʻuokalani.
