The Navigators: Pathfinders of the Pacific explores the ancient art of sea fairing only using the waves, the stars, and the flights of birds for guidance. The DVD explores the history of ocean navigators from the islands of Polynesia, and an interview and demonstration with Mau Piailug, one of the few men who still has and practices the knowledge of the ancient voyagers.
