ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Natalie Embree was born on Oʻahu and now lives in Kihei, Maui with her husband and two crazy dogs. Her children’s stories are inspired by island life, blending imagination, humor, and the warmth of aloha. She writes to capture the wonder of nature, the joy of discovery, and the spirit of friendship. Her work as an art instructor with special needs adults ignited her passion for art and creativity. Natalie also enjoys playing tennis, exploring Maui’s beaches, illustrating, sewing and working in the garden.
ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR
Yuko Green has been creating artwork for Island Heritage since 1993. She has designed and illustrated many children’s books, activity books, as well as a variety of gift and stationery products. Yuko’s children books frequent Hawai`i Best Seller Lists, and have won national children’s book awards. A native of Japan, Yuko has moved to Hawai`i in 1987, and has resided on the Big Island ever since. Hawai`i’s rich culture and nature have become her primary subjects and inspiration for her children’s book illustrations, which are created with her signature “happy” colors, patterns and textures.

It's a large card - 5.5 x 8 in. with a beautiful display of flowers and fruits on the front. It does have a glitter-like substance on the flowers but it does not rub off at all. Many cards you touch the glitter will go all over the place. This card does no such thing, which makes them even better. I guarantee the recipients of this card will absolutely love it because it's a great representation of Hawaii.

I bought the Island Rose classic cologne while on vacation in Maui. When I came home, I decided to try it, and everywhere I went, everyone asked me what fragrance I was wearing. No one believes me when I tell them it was this cologne from a souvenir shop. So when I ran out, I had to find more, and it's all I wear now.

These Aloha shirt cards are fantastic. The card stock is thick, the design is great, and they open where the shirt buttons, which is a nice feature. They will be a nice alternative than the “traditional” Christmas cards. They arrived within a week of ordering. I would purchase them again.
