The Gecko Says "Click, Click"

The Gecko says, “Click, Click!” is an adorable mele book that teaches young children happy sounds of Hawaii in an engaging and colorful way. The book follows eight different animals and insects singing under the Hawaiian Rainbow. They visit their friends all throughout the islands, including a gecko, a mynah bird, and even a monk seal! One by one, they wander off until they meet as one under the beautiful ānuenue rainbow.  Look for the hidden gecko on every page!

ABOUT THE AUTHOR AND ILLUSTRATOR

Yuko Green has been creating artwork for Island Heritage since 1993. She has designed and illustrated many children’s books, activity books, as well as a variety of gift and stationery products. Yuko’s children books frequent Hawai`i Best Seller Lists, and have won national children’s book awards. A native of Japan, Yuko has moved to Hawai`i in 1987, and has resided on the Big Island ever since.  Hawai`i’s rich culture and nature have become her primary subjects and inspiration for her children’s book illustrations, which are created with her signature “happy” colors, patterns and textures.
