ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Wendy Kunimitsu Haraguchi was born and raised on the island of Oahu. Peekaboo the Poi Dog is Wendy’s first book and was inspired by watching her daughter’s creative ways of entertaining herself with whatever happened to be nearby. Wendy enjoys reading, traveling, trying new eateries, and spending time with family and friends. She currently resides in Mililani with her husband and daughter.

ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR
Kat Uno was born and raised on Maui but currently lives on Oahu. She has always enjoyed drawing and painting since she was very young. Her first sources of inspiration were comic strips from the newspaper, cartoons and living in Hawaii. After graduating from the University of Hawaii, she worked in various creative fields. Kat now focuses her career on illustrating and designing for the children’s market.
